Hello, I’m Olivia

I am a qualified UKCP Psychotherapist and an MBACP-registered Humanistic Psychotherapeutic Counsellor offering online and in-person therapy sessions in East Putney, Richmond and Wimbledon, South West London.

I believe that you have the capacity for personal growth, acceptance, and change, and I strive to facilitate this process through empathic and compassionate presence.  Through my warmth, curiosity, and ability to sit in the unknown, I aim to meet you where you are today with a view to support you to reach where you want to be.

My approach

I provide my clients with a safe, nurturing, and respectful space to delve into self-awareness, healing, and personal responsibility, offering a pathway to a more fulfilling life that resonates with your beliefs. Together, we can cultivate awareness and insight into your unique experiences in the world around you. If you find yourself feeling disconnected in your relationships, whether with yourself or others, or if life feels “off” without a clear reason, know that you’re not alone. You may be grappling with feelings of low mood, anxiety, or a longing to understand your identity more deeply. Engaging in this exploration with someone by your side can enrich your understanding and empower you to create the changes you desire. By shining a light on these areas in a collaborative, compassionate manner, I believe that positive transformations can emerge.

I work relationally, drawing on our connection established in the therapy room to highlight relational patterns you may be repeating outside of our sessions. My practice is rooted in three humanistic theoretical frameworks: Person Centred, Gestalt, and Transactional Analysis. This integration allows me to customise therapy specifically to your needs and therapeutic goal.

At the core of my humanistic philosophy is the belief that clients are the experts of themselves and with warmth, curiosity and acceptance clients can explore and better understand their full selves. My role is not to direct you, but to create a safe, supportive environment where you can explore your feelings and experiences openly and without judgment. Together, we can work to develop your self-awareness, explore repetitive patterns or relationships and explore what is causing you distress, in a safe and confidential space.

I am deeply committed to recognising and challenging the systemic power imbalances that significantly impact our lives. I understand that social and cultural norms can, at times, reinforce oppressive structures that result in marginalization, discrimination, and inequality. My priority is to cultivate a therapeutic environment that is warm, inclusive, and respectful of every individual, no matter their background, identity, or experiences.

Experience

I have extensive professional experience working in a variety of environments, with a variety of presenting concerns and with a diverse range of individuals. I work with Adults on a one to one basis.

I am committed to completing Continuous Professional Development to enhance my skills and knowledge.

Get in touch

If you are interested in working together, I offer a free 20-minute introductory call on Google Meet where you can ask any questions you may have and gain an understanding of how we might work together.  For me, the therapeutic relationship forms an integral part of the work so it is important that you feel I am the right therapist for you.  If I am not, I am happy to point you towards some resources where you might continue your search.

In the first few sessions we can explore any questions you might have about the therapy process and we will get to know one another.  I am led by you as the expert of your own experience and will offer you an honest and open space to explore what might be challenging you.

I offer in-person and online therapy sessions. My in-person therapy sessions are held in East Putney, Richmond, and Wimbledon in South West London, areas that are accessible by the District tube line and a national rail train station.  My online sessions are held securely via Google Meet.

I offer a sliding payment scale, between £70 – £90 per 50 minute session, as I recognise that the financial commitment can often be a barrier to accessing therapy.  Your fee is dependent on what you feel you can afford and this is something that we can discuss in our introductory call or our first session.

I also have a limited number of low-cost sessions for those on income support or low incomes. These sessions are currently full, however I will update on my website when spaces become available.

I offer a pay it forward model where you could sponsor a space for an individual to have weekly therapy sessions. If you are interested please get in contact with me to discuss it further.
